Where did my photo go?
After you tap Save to Photos or Download HD, the file is saved on your device, but the exact place depends on what kind of phone or computer you're using. Here's a short guide for each one.
On iPhone or iPad
When you tap Save to Photos, your iPhone shows a sharing menu (the one with all the icons like Mail, Messages, AirDrop, and so on).
To save to your Photos app
- Look for “Save Image” in the menu — it has a small picture icon next to it.
- Tap it. Your photo appears in your Photos app, in the Recents album.
- Open the Photos app to see it. That's the colorful flower icon on your home screen.
If you tapped “Save to Files” instead
No problem — the photo is in your Files app. You can move it to Photos:
- Open the Files app (the blue folder icon).
- Tap Downloads or On My iPhone.
- Find your colorized photo (the file name starts with “photorevive-”).
- Tap the photo once to open it. Then tap the share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose “Save Image” from the menu.
Tip: if you're still on Safari and the photo is showing on the screen, you can also tap and hold the picture itself and choose “Save to Photos” right there.
On an Android phone or tablet
Most Android phones save downloaded images automatically into your Photos or Gallery app.
- Open Google Photos (the colorful pinwheel icon) or your Gallery app.
- Look in the most recent photos — your colorized photo should be at the top.
If you don't see it there, open the Files or My Files app and look in the Downloads folder.
On a Mac or Windows computer
Your photo was saved into your Downloads folder — the same place your browser saves everything else.
To open your Downloads folder:
- On Mac: open Finder, then click Downloads in the sidebar on the left.
- On Windows: open File Explorer, then click Downloads in the sidebar on the left.
You can also click the small down-arrow icon in the top-right of your browser to see your most recent downloads.
